About the Author Henry Lee Norman Anderson practices what he teaches. He encourages "people who care about wellness" to become health conscious and learn how to prevent disease in their lives. Author of several books and publications, he's one of the few men who is well educated and a highly trained professional. This book is only one of his "Wellness Small Books Series" now coming off the press. He authored "You and Race: A Christian Reflects (1960), No Use Cryin' (1961), Revolutionary Urban Teaching ( 1973), Helping Hand: 8-Day Diet Programs for People Who Care about Wellness (1985), Helping Hand: A guide to Healthy Living (1990), and Ihre Gesundheit Liegt in Ihrer Hand (1992). He founded Martin Luther King Memorial Urban Core Muti-Versity; Organic Wellness Crusade, Young International Entrepreneurs in Wellness (Y.I.E.W.), Anderson-Imahe Wellness villages (International), and City University Los Angeles (of which he's the chancellor). His accomplishments have earned him listings in "Who's Who in the California,""Who's Who in the West," and "Who's Who in the World," among others. Also a licensed marriage, family and child counselor, Dr. Anderson's tri-weekly cable television show won the 1991 Renaissance Award for "The Best Talk Show" on Continental Cablevisions's South Central Los Angeles system. Himself a fruitarian, he fasts regularly and has fasted for up to 24 days on pure water only while maintaining an almost normal schedule. Dr. Anderson has been married to his wife, Agnes, for 32 years. They have three adult children, one grandchild and one "on the way." He teaches wellness and gives seminars all over the world.
